A great social evening was had by all that attend the National Hairdressing Awards 2010 on Sunday night 20th June in the stunning Shelbourne Hotel, Stephens Green, Dublin.
The International Guest on the evening was Ms Annie Humphreys. Ms Humphreys arguably is the most imaginative and iconic colourist ever to have graced the industry.

Glamour and excitement was the order of the night at the National Hairdressing Awards 2009 celebrating the success of Icons in Irish Hairdressing. Some of the countries most successful hairdressing talent were in attendance. The event held in Shelbourne Hotel on Sunday 13th June kicked off with an International Icon Award being awarded to Mr Patrick Cameron one of the worlds greatest hairdressers who was the Irish industries chosen guest icon.
The IHF ALL STAR Award is an achievement or recognition of service to the industry. It can be a once-off or a continuous contribution highlighting the IHF and the industry in a positive light to the general public in many different ways. Hairdressers at all levels can be nominated for this award but must be young at heart.

The Hall of Leaders is the industry's opportunity to pay tribute to the many women and men who gave something 'special' to the Irish Hairdressing industry in the past or who may still be contributing.
These people are the visionaries, revolutionaries, trend-setters that have shaped the course of our Irish Hairdressing history - in several different areas. They have stimulated the imagination of others, inhabited dreams and crossed all sorts of barriers.

Our International guest in 2009 - Patrick Cameron - An Interantional hairdresser whom the Irish hairdressing industry adopt and honour as their International Icon.

The Hall of Fame Award honours competitive hairdressers and also some media 'darlings'. It is focused on hairdressers who have won either:
The Irish Hairdresser of the Year Award three times, The Irish Photographic Award three times or Have held the Champion of All Irish Champions Award for three years or more.
