General Rules
- NO TICKET or SECURITY WRISTBAND - NO ENTRY.
- Entries will ONLY be accepted from current paid up members of the IHF for 2010.
- Competitors and models will receive security bands upon registration for competitions (either Sat th or Sun 8th March). Make-up artists and spectators must each have an entry ticket.
- Prepaid entries only. No entries accepted on the day
- No refund on competition entry fees or spectator tickets purchased.
- A limited number of entries per category. Please remember that some categories get filled very quickly and entries will close as soon as full (ie: Senior Ladies Full Fashion and Trainee Ladies Trend Cut).
- The IHF committee reserves the right to alter or amend the rules and to refuse entry or admission.
- The term 'Trainee' applies to hairdressers still undergoing training.
- Mirrors will not be provided by the organisers.
- No shampooing facilities at venue.
- 13 amp three-pin plugs are to be used for all electrical appliances.

- Judging will commence immediately after the floor is cleared of competitors and equipment. Models must remain on the competition floor.
- Closing date for entries is 1st March 2010.
- The finalists in each competition category will be called onstage with their model.
- The starting time for all categories is approximate. Please check with the organisers on the day.
- Judges will state any interest they have in a particular competitor. In this case the marks of the judge concerned will not be taken for that competitor and the average mark of the other judges combined will be taken instead.
- The judges decision is final.
- The IHF accept NO responsibility for goods left on the premises.
- Cheques should be crossed and made payable to the 'Irish Hairdressers Federation No cash please.
- Clothing must be fashionable and decent.
- Penalty points will apply for competitors who do not observe the rules.
