To participate in the CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010 your salon must be a current member of the IHF.

Irish Hairdressing Championship 2010 Awards and Titles

IHF Irish Hairdresser of the Year

Title and Trophy will be awarded to the IHF competitor who enters four models in four senior ladies categories of which two must be the Senior Ladies Full Fashion and Senior Creative Fantasy categories. These are the compulsory categories. Choose two other categories of your choice from Senior Ladies Long Hair Up Hairstyle, Senior Ladies Fashionable Hairstyle on Long Hair, Classic Bridal Hair or Senior Creative Colour Category. If you enter all four categories the top two marks go forward together with the marks gained in the compulsory categories. Note the same model can not be used for the Senior Ladies Full Fashion and Senior Creative Colour categories. Note the same model can be used for the Bridal Hair and Senior Ladies Long Hair Up categories.

IHF Irish Barber/Men's Hairdresser of the Year

Title and Plaque will be awarded to the IHF competitor who gains the highest combined marks from both of these categories.

• Men's Freestyle
• Men's Full Fashion

If a competitor presents more than one model in the Men's Full Fashion category, the highest points gained in each category are combined.

IHF Trainee Hairstylist of the Year

• Trainee Ladies Trend Cut
• Trainee Ladies Long Hair Up
• Trainee Creative Fantasy

Junior Team Ireland Member 2010

This position will be awarded to the trainee who gains the highest combined marks in both of these categories:

• Trainee Ladies Trend Cut
• Trainee Ladies Long Hair Up

This new Junior Team Ireland Member will also win their flights and accommmodation to an OMC Interantional Championship, where they will compete at international level. Their entry fees, mannequin heads and stands will also be sponsored by the IHF.
